Eric Clapton, Roger Waters, Steve Winwood; Nile Rodgers y más músicos rindieron homenaje a Ginger Baker en un concierto en Londres, A Tribute To Ginger Baker.
El concierto celebrado en honor del fallecido batería de las dos legendarias bandas Cream y Blind Faith tuvo lugar en Eventim Apollo Hammersmith en Londres el lunes por la noche. Clapton dirigió una banda que incluía al teclista / vocalista Paul Carrack, el teclista Chris Stainton, los baterías Sonny Emory y Steve Gadd, el bajista Willie Weeks y las vocalistas Katie Kissoon y Sharon White. El bajista de Pink Floyd, Roger Waters, abrió la noche con Sunshine Of Your Love, Strange Brew y White Room. Este último también contó con Ronnie Wood y Kenney Jones.
El hijo de Ginger, Kofi Baker también se unió al escenario y, posteriormente, hizo lo propio Steve Winwood para interpretar clásicos como Had To Cry Today, Presence Of The Lord, Well Alright, Can’t Find My Way Home y Do What You Like / Toad. Finalmente, todos los artistas se unieron para el bis final con Crossoroads.
