La batalla está servida: Juego de Tronos vs Breaking Bad vs True Detective. Las tres series forman parte del total de las 66 candidaturas para los premios Emmy 2014, que premian la temporada televisiva norteamericana (y británica) 2013-14, y cuya ceremonia de entrega tendrá lugar el próximo 25 de agosto.
Ya os podemos adelantar que las principales categorías en relación a las series dramáticas están copadas por las susodichas Juego de Tronos, Breaking Bad y True Detective, además de la House of Cards, Mad Men y la inglesa Downton Abbey; mientras que en las categorías de comedia destaca la debutante Orange Is the New Black, junto con otras ya clásicas como Modern Family, Big Bang Theory o Louie.
Atención también a los apartados de miniseries y telefilmes: Fargo acumula 18 candidaturas, y American Horror Story: Coven 17, solo superadas por las 19 de Juego de Tronos. Breaking Bad con 16 y Orange Is the New Black, que empieza fuerte con 12 candidaturas, también están entre las que más opciones tienen de llevarse algún premio. Y lo más probable es que sea más de uno.
