Bruce Springsteen y la E-Street Band salen de gira en promoción de su edición ampliada del clásico The River, y en el que más de la mitad del concierto se dedicó a tocar su clásico de 1980, en el mismo orden de canciones del álbum. No sabemos todavía si la gira se ampliará a Europa, pregunta que hasta ahora Springsteen ha contestado con un escueto “veremos”, presumiblemente porque tiene en mente grabar un nuevo álbum- esta vez en solitario- a lo largo de este año.
Así, 20 de las 34 canciones interpretadas en la noche del sábado, en Pittsburgh, Pensilvania formaban parte de The River, aunque The Boss abrió con Meet me in the city, canción inédita incluída en la reedición ampliada. Para no decepcionar al personal allí congregado, tocó también algunos de sus clásicos – ver setlist abajo- así como una versión de Rebel Rebel en homenaje al recientemente fallecido David Bowie.
