Pearl Jam arrancan su gira 2021

La primera actuación de la banda en tres años, justo unas semanas de cumplir el 30º aniversario de su álbum debut, tuvo lugar ayer en el festival Sea.Hear.Now junto a la playa en Asbury Park, Nueva Jersey.

El arranque fue momento propicio para dar a conocer las nuevas canciones de Gigatron, además de presentar a su nuevo miembro de gira, Josh Klinghoffer. Josh Adam Klinghoffer es más conocido por ser el ex guitarrista de la banda de rock Red Hot Chili Peppers de 2009 a 2019, con quien grabó dos álbumes de estudio, I’m with You (2011). y The Getaway (2016). Pearl Jam abrió el set de 20 canciones con tres nuevas canciones seguidas: Dance of the Clairvoyants, Quick Escape y Seven O’Clock, seguidsa un poco más tarde de Never Destination, Superblood Wolfmoon y Take the Long Way. También destacó el homenaje a Charlie Watts durante la interpretación de Wishlist y el bis de My City of Ruins del álbum The Rising de Springsteen. Para cerrar el espectáculo, el guitarrista de Patti Smith, Lenny Kaye, se unió para corear Rockin ‘in the Free World de Neil Young.
