Capitol ha anunciado la publicación de Made in California, un box-set de seis discos que incluye la cronología de su carrera, el próximo 27 de agosto.
Son siete horas y media de música que incluyen canciones no publicadas previamente, demos, así com grabaciones en vivo, así como otros complementos gráficos como un anuario y fotos inéditas.
Entre las “rarezas” inéditas se incluyen títulos como Goin’ to the Beach, California Feelin’, Soul Searchin’, You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling o You’re Still a Mystery.
El set también incluye 17 grabaciones en vivo, como Runaway (1965), Friends and Little Bird (1968), Wild Honey (1972), It’s About Time (1973), Wonderful and Vegetables de su gira acústica de 1993, y una versión de Sail on, Sailor, de 1995, con la voz de Carl Wilson.
