Aun avanzado el verano continúan publicándose discos interesantes. Así, la confirmación – ninguna sorpresa para nosotros- de Michael Kiwanuka con su segundo disco, Love & Hate (Universal Music, 2016). Encontramos también nuevos valores del soul (ABRA), rock (Valley Queen), jazz (Jacob Collier) o el pop (Pat Moon, cantante de Portland, con su disco de debut Don’t Hide From The Light) y veteranos como Gary Wilson – uno de los músicos favoritos de Beck– o una de las mejores voces vivas del soul de todos los tiempos, Aaron Neville, que ha contado con la ayuda de The Dap-Kings en su nuevo trabajo. Y no olvidamos del primer disco en solitario- sí, el primero- de Steven Tyler (Aerosmith) y curiosidades como el regreso de Omar Rodríguez López, que sacará este año doce nuevos discos o You Got Me Singing, álbum de versiones de Amanda Palmer con su padre, Jack Palmer.
